Dr Dimitrios Apostolopoulos is a UK-trained neurologist, originally from Volos, Greece. He graduated from the Medical School of Alexandroupolis, in Greece and continued his studies at University College London (UCL). He completed his neurology training at the University Hospital of Nottingham and at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (2013–2024), and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP London).

He has worked as a clinical neuroscience researcher at the University of Cambridge, Jesus College (2021–2025), contributing to the design and conduct of clinical studies in neurodegenerative disorders, with a focus on movement disorders such as Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease.

In his free time, he engages with music and the sea, with a particular interest in classical music and sailing.
